William Hill Online wins Operator of the Year Award

Leading online gaming group, William Hill Online has emerged the winner at the 2011 eGaming Review operator awards beating other contenders for this prestigious position. William Hill won this prestigious award beating other shortlisted names including 888, Bet 365 and Betfair.

The annual egaming operator awards were held at the Honourable Artillery Club in London. This year, the event was bigger with about 700 online gaming professionals gathering at the venue to applaud the winners who did really well this year and won the coveted awards.

William Hill Online won the award after being evaluated by a eGR’s independent panel of judges who opined that the group deserved the most prestigious award of the evening, describing the operator as “the turnaround story of 2011”. They said that William Hill Online has managed to transform its brand into a dynamic fresh faced online gaming brand and their momentum showed no sign of slowing down.

CEO of William Hill Online, Henry Birch, said that the eGR award or operator of the year recognizes the huge strides thy have made over the last 12 months. He added that he would like to thank everyone at William Hill Online for their hard work over the year and it has been fantastic.

William Hill has been growing rapidly and in 2011 the group has added new site for the Italian, Irish and Canadian markets. These new additions have ensured that the gaming site is available in over 26 different language sites to over 175 different countries all over the world.
